Har Ki Dun Trek
Har Ki Dun Trek
The Har Ki Dun Trek, also known as the “Valley of Gods” trek, is one of the most scenic and culturally rich treks in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. Sitting at an altitude of around 11,700 feet, this trek offers a perfect blend of breathtaking landscapes, ancient folklore, and a glimpse into the life of remote Himalayan villages.
Surrounded by snow-capped peaks like Swargarohini, Hata Peak, and Black Peak, the trail takes you through dense pine forests, alpine meadows, glacier basins, and quaint wooden villages that seem frozen in time. The valley is believed to be the path taken by the Pandavas on their way to heaven, adding a spiritual essence to the trek.
This moderate trek is ideal for beginners and seasoned trekkers alike, offering rich biodiversity, peaceful riverside campsites, and a deeper connection with nature.
