Brahmatal Trek

The Brahmatal Trek is a magical winter trek located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, offering mesmerizing views of snow-draped forests, frozen lakes, and towering Himalayan peaks like Mount Trishul and Nanda Ghunti. At an altitude of 12,250 ft (3,735 m), Brahmatal is one of the few high-altitude Himalayan treks accessible even in peak winter, making it a favorite for snow lovers and first-time trekkers.

The Brahmatal Trek is not just a snow trek—it’s a diverse Himalayan experience that weaves together snow-covered forests, hidden alpine lakes, towering peaks, and rich mythology. Nestled in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, the trek is especially popular between December and March when it transforms into a magical white wonderland.
