Bali Pass Trek

The Bali Pass Trek is one of the most exhilarating and scenic high-altitude treks in the Indian Himalayas, located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. At an altitude of 4,950 meters (16,240 feet), this trek connects the Har Ki Dun Valley with the Yamunotri region and is ideal for seasoned trekkers looking for a raw and offbeat adventure.

The Bali Pass trek offers a unique combination of lush valleys, alpine meadows, glacial basins, and rugged mountain passes. It begins from the picturesque village of Sankri, passes through charming hamlets like Seema and Osla, and ventures into the sacred Har Ki Dun Valley. The trail then takes you to the high-altitude pass, offering panoramic views of peaks like Swargarohini, Black Peak (Kalanag), and Bandarpoonch.

This trek is rich in mythology and culture, with stops at ancient villages where locals still live in traditional wooden homes. It’s also ecologically rich, teeming with flora, fauna, and alpine forests.
